Golden Milk

Golden milk is a classic recipe from Ayurveda, traditional Indian medicine. Among the benefits this preparation provides is that it helps reduce inflammation, strengthen and modulate the immune system, and improve sleep.

  • 2 Teaspoons of ghee
  • 1 teaspoon of Munay Golden Milk
  • 2 cups of milk (cow or plant-based)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or panela (optional)

Toast the golden milk mixture (turmeric and spices) in a hot pot for 10 seconds and add the ghee. Add the milk, ginger and panela (if you’re going to use honey add it at the end) simmer over low heat. After about 10 minutes of simmering it’s ready to drink. Take it ideally 2 hours before bed. In addition to strengthening your body, your immune system and proper organic functioning, it will help you rest and relax muscles as well as create the conditions for deep and restorative sleep.
