Today we navigate a world where women’s health is compromised. Did you know that 1 in 6 women face fertility problems? Our connection with nature, with our physiological processes is increasingly distant. There are countries where the cesarean section rate in births exceeds 50%. Health during pregnancy determines the experiences and imbalances that the coming generation will have to confront (e.g. diabetes, allergies, asthma, autism…)
Millions of women in different cities suffer from endometriosis, fibroids, myomas, premenstrual syndrome and menopausal imbalances, however most women in indigenous communities do not know these ailments.
Plant medicine and connection with the Earth is a path of healing and sovereignty that is essential at this moment. As women we need healthy, safe, accessible alternatives that help us regain balance.
This is a call to:
- Take responsibility and sovereignty over our health
- Listen to and trust the wisdom of our body
- Remember feminine wisdom, the innate wisdom of healing
- Integrate conscious eating practices
- Deepen connection with the Earth
- Recognize our cycles and rhythms
- Connect with our authentic path
Below we suggest some practices and plants for different moments in your life and your cycle.
Menstrual and Pelvic Pain
Menstrual pain has root causes related to inflammation. There are natural practices that help address it at its source and relieve it.
- Follow an anti-inflammatory diet rich in organic vegetables, fruits, and omega-3 rich foods. Avoid processed foods, refined sugar, saturated fats, artificial ingredients and sweeteners as much as possible.
- Integrate practices to reduce daily stress, for example pranayama and meditation.
- Maintain excellent sleep hygiene.
- Ease inflammation and pain by taking healing plants. Turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, guayusa, chai, lavender, sage… explore the plants you connect best with.
- Take our botanical blends, infusions recommended for women, dedicated to recovering feminine balance
