Tincture
In tinctures, alcohol or apple cider vinegar is used as an extraction method. Fill a dark glass bottle or jar with herbs and cover them with vinegar, vodka, rum or brandy. Cap the bottle and let them macerate in a warm place for 1 to 3 months. There are those who bury them 1 meter underground.
Floral Essences
They represent the energy of plants by capturing their vibration in water. They work at a very subtle and deep level, influencing mainly the spirit. They work with vital energy starting with the intangible parts of the Being.
Through water, dew and other precise methods, the plant’s memory is captured. Even though the essence is a colorless and odorless water and scientifically shows no active vibrational principles, floral essences are healing. They contribute mainly to healing physical and mental disorders of emotional, energetic and spiritual origin.
Homeopathy
Homeopathy is based on the premise that the body is capable of healing itself. It consists of quantum doses of natural substances that, like floral essences, scientifically show no molecular chemistry. They work at a vibrational and energetic level. Paradoxically, the more dilutions it has, the greater its ability to stimulate the body’s healing response. Homeopathy reproduces the symptoms that combined with potency catalyze the restoration of the body’s balance.
Essential Oils
Essential oils result from the distillation of aromatic plants, flowers, seeds, wood, fruits, berries and sap. It is composed of terpenes, esters, phenols, aldehydes, ethers, oxides, acids… The technique and good practices of the distiller result in the quality of the oil. Essential oils are volatile, ethereal and aromatic and represent the aroma of the extracted plant, its identity, protection mechanism and reproduction.
All plants can be distilled, but not all of them allow oil extraction; only those high in aromatic principles. Distillation also produces hydrolates, which is distilled water that equally contains some particles in suspension. It can also be used medicinally and cosmetically.
Our recommendation is that if you’re going to use essential oils, always look for those obtained through slow steam distillation, from wild plants or organic crops. Remember that a small bottle of essential oil requires many plants. For example, to extract 5ml of rose oil you need more than 50kg of fresh roses. For 15ml of lavender oil you need 1.5kg. When using them, use very little quantity. Keep in mind that in their volatility lies the desire to expand in the air, so it’s better to inhale them through a diffuser, by rubbing them on your hands, diluted in oil, or in baths.
