If you have good nutrition (food, drink, thought, word, electromagnetic field) you don’t need doctors and medications, if you don’t have good nutrition it’s a matter of transforming and integrating healthy, integral and holistic habits.
Enjoyment is part of purification and transformation. Hippocrates said it’s better to have a little of something that isn’t good for you if what you really want is to consume large amounts of something healthy that you don’t enjoy.
The awareness of nourishing ourselves, of seeking vitality guides us on the path of purification.
Start by cleaning your diet: an anti-inflammatory diet supports the wellbeing of your liver, colon, and other organs that help us detoxify daily.
- Avoid going to extremes, the yo-yo effect of swinging between toxic habits and a detox and then back to toxic habits.
- Establishing new habits takes time, it’s gradual. Implement small advances, until they become habits.
- Improving the quality of what you consume is more important than a diet based on body type.
- Strengthen your digestive fire to be able to tolerate the toxins we can’t avoid from the world.
- Fasting is not the best form of detoxification.
- Don’t add extra stress, if you feel weak eat and always try to get good sleep.
- For a light diet combine fruits, vegetables, soups, some protein or combine complex carbohydrates with legumes. Observe that sugar levels remain stable and that energy increases.
- Honor the territory you inhabit. Salads are ideal in warm climates, but difficult to digest for those of us living in high mountains in humid and cold climates. In that case, steamed vegetables or lightly sautéed ones are better.
- Then accompany with herbal infusions and tea
