Munay is a Quechua word that translates to Love and Beauty. In Andean cosmology, *Munay* is the vital energy that permeates and flows through everything—the feeling that leads to action.
In late 2010, Laura Cahnspeyer chose to create a space dedicated to promoting a tranquil lifestyle through tea and herbal infusions; thus, Taller de Té was born. For several years, he traveled around Colombia and the world, exploring the use and traditional knowledge of local plants.
In 2017, we evolved into Munay, a company dedicated to sharing the wisdom of Nature, the energy of Life, and the capacity we all possess to flow at any moment and in any situation.

Reason for Being
The plants, the communities that cultivate them, the territories, the soils, the water, the winds, the sun, and our team form the foundation of our company; therefore, we seek and promote ecological balance for the well-being of the Earth and humanity. Our principles are based on responsible conduct towards humanity and nature.
We are a single consciousness; we contemplate and act upon our coexistence with nature through collaboration with producers (land regeneration, development of agroecological projects), conscious consumption, packaging reduction, self-care, and practices that respect all beings—including “stakeholders,” bodies of water, soils, and elemental spirits.
